FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What about sunscreen?
Sand Blocker does not remove or interfere with SPF Products, when these products are applied as directed. Sunscreen should be applied first to allow the SPF to penetrate the outer layer of skin. Sand Blocker can then be applied, and will even remove the oily residue left on your body from the sunscreen to leave you silky smooth and completely sand free.
I reapply sunblock about every 30 minutes. Does the sand blocker need to be reapplied after each reapplication of sunblock?
You only have to re-apply Sand Blocker after you go in the water. However, when you put more sunblock on, you will feel greasy again, so the sand will stick to that. Sand Blocker can be re-applied to feel silky smooth.
Why is it different from baby powder?
Baby powder is typically made from corn starch, which leaves a pasty mess on your skin and leaves you feeling dry and uncomfortable. Another type of baby powder is made from talc. Sand Blocker contains NO TALC. This is especially important because talc has been proven to be dangerous for infants’ respiratory systems and can cause suffocation if inhaled. Talc has also been proven to be a cancer causing product. Sand Blocker is so safe you can use it on a baby’s hands before they eat and then feed them right out of their hands.
What is it made from? Is it hypoallergenic?
Sand Blocker is a patented product made from a proprietary blend of all natural food products. There are no chemicals, colorants, preservatives or additives in Sand Blocker to cause allergic reactions.
Should I use it before I go out on the beach?
Feel free to use Sand Blocker before you go on the beach. It will keep the sand from sticking to you and keep you cool. Sand Blocker absorbs the perspiration from your body, the stickiness from the ocean, the oily feeling left from sunscreen products and leaves you silky smooth, cool and comfortable. After you go into the water, Sand Blocker should be re-applied to remove and repel the sand.
Does Sand Blocker work for other things?
Sand Blocker works just as well for grass clippings, sawdust and hair clippings as it does for sand. It breaks the bond between your skin and anything that sticks to it, and leaves you silky smooth, cool and comfortable.
